ART. 1 – GOALS
The Suoni di Terra Festival and the Cultural Association Blu’S, in collaboration with Mustilli Farm Company, organizes the 1th Edition of the International Frame10 Prize, aimed at promoting and enhancing Contemporary Art.
This year’s theme: Rooms of Madness.
Creativity generates flows.
The Suoni di Terra Festival 2013 through emptiness, folly, extravagance.
It is certainly a challenge to find the connections with a condition, the madness, which refers to something inevitably broken, alien, of reckless, to be removed.
Yet, in time and in the evolution of contemporary thought we learned to understand it, to accept it, recognize it. In the classical world it was inextricably linked to the sacred sphere: the medium becomes idle and connector, representing the voice of the Divine, which is by listening to interpret.
In the Renaissance, just think Praise of Folly by Erasmus of Rotterdam: “…at that time the crowds was considered a different person, for both values for both his philosophy of life, and therefore deserved to be respected, vacated.”
The power of creativity has allowed each person to receive the benefits of the art to understand and, perhaps, a little more themselves and the world. Art is the only way an expression of total and universal in it the artist pours all his passions, feelings and emotions in a close symbiosis with the spiritual life.
The Prize has received the patronage of the President of the Campania Region, the participation of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, the Province of Benevento, the Chamber of Commerce of Benevento, the Municipality of Sant’Agata de’ Goti.
